Overland Park Eye Care Services

To learn more about some of the services our vision care practice manages, take a look at the topics below.

Our vision care services include:

  • Find out what to expect during a comprehensive eye exam, how often you should have one, and what kinds of problems the eye exam can detect. You will also see how the process differs depending on the patient’s need, for example to accommodate children or a contact lens fitting.
  • Most of our learning and development relies on good eyesight, so early detection and treatment of a child's vision problem is important.
  • Our practice provides emergency eye care services, including foreign body removal.
  • Did you know our optometrists diagnose and treat eye diseases like Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, and Cataracts?
  • We offer co-management of LASIK, cataract, and other ocular surgery.
  • Whether your eyes are not producing enough tears or the quality of the tear film is poor, chronic dry eye can lead to eye irritation, and an inability to wear contact lenses. With dry eye, there is also an increased risk of corneal inflammation and eye infections.
  • Our eye exam includes evaluating the quality of peripheral vision, not just how well you focus on the letters you read. This portion of the exam usually involves covering one eye and focusing the other on a fixed point in front of you, while describing what you can see on the “periphery” of your vision.
  •  Try Latisse™  for longer, thicker lashes.
  • Eye injuries range from the very minor such as getting soap in your eye, to something more serious like a laceration. We treat a wide variety of eye emergencies regularly.
  • From the occasional eyelash that gets in your eye to a piece of grit or even a metal shard, we can help.
  • You don’t have to go to your primary care physician for conjunctivitis. Our optometrists can help you with red eyes, pink eye, or sore eyes right here.
